Northern Ireland’s Rock Rebels Are Back!
After a decade of powerhouse albums and a well-earned reputation for big riffs and bigger stage presence, Trucker Diablo is charging back onto the scene with Social Hand Grenade, a collection that promises to push their sound into uncharted territory. Their latest single, “Dig,” marks the dawn of a new era for the band, with its menacing groove and punchy lyrics that capture the raw struggle of digging deep and pushing forward through life’s challenges.
Formed in 2008 by Simon Haddock and Tom Harte, Trucker Diablo’s original lineup included Glenn Harrison on bass and Terry Crawford on drums. The band made waves with their early releases, The Devil Rhythm and Songs of Iron, landing high-profile gigs alongside rock titans Foo Fighters and Black Stone Cherry. After a hiatus, the band returned with bassist Jim McGurk, bringing a new energy that has fueled four albums over the past decade, culminating in Social Hand Grenade.

About the Band
Hailing from Craigavon, Northern Ireland, the guys have a love for loud guitars and unfiltered energy. Bassist Jim McGurk, who sports a rugged, Gandalf-esque look, even lives on a mountain surrounded by sheep—a fitting setting for crafting those heavy-hitting bass lines.
The Sound of Trucker Diablo Trucker Diablo describes their sound as a blend of Metallica’s thunderous riffs, Thin Lizzy’s soul, and Nickelback’s stadium-sized choruses. “We’re here for fans who crave raw, unapologetic rock,” says Harte. The single “Dig” explores the struggle of navigating life’s crossroads and making tough choices, wrapped in a hard-hitting beat and unforgettable chorus that’s “simple but effective.”
