Armored Saint Set to Enter Studio for Long-Awaited Ninth Album

Following two festival performances—Bangers Open Air in São Paulo, Brazil and Sonic Temple Festival in Columbus, Ohio—heavy metal icons Armored Saint will enter the studio next month to begin recording their long-anticipated ninth studio album. The release is tentatively slated for Spring 2026 via Metal Blade Records.

Upcoming Tour Plans: UK with W.A.S.P. & US with Michael Schenker

In September, Armored Saint will join W.A.S.P. for a trio of UK dates, including a debut performance in Newcastle and a return to the legendary Eventim Apollo in London (formerly the Hammersmith Odeon).

They’ll then return to the U.S. in October to support the legendary Michael Schenker on his My Years With UFO US Tour.

As a special feature during this run, Armored Saint will celebrate the 40th anniversary of their second album, Delirious Nomad, by performing a five-song micro set of material from the album each night.

A Message from John Bush

“What up, Saints? We want to give you all a heads-up on what’s happening with us this year,” shares vocalist John Bush. “First, we’ve been writing songs for the upcoming new record, and we’re just about done! We go into 606 Studios next month to record drums for five songs. The plan still stands for an early Spring 2026 release.
We’ve got two rad festival dates in May: Bangers Open Air and Sonic Temple Festival. Then we’re joining our friends W.A.S.P. for three shows in Britain this September, including Newcastle, where we’ve never played, and London at the Eventim Apollo—formerly the legendary Hammersmith Odeon. We are psyched! Then we’ll do nine more U.S. shows in October with one of the best rock guitar players to ever walk the earth: Michael Schenker. We’ll be doing something special on these dates. In conjunction with the 40th anniversary of Delirious Nomad, we’ll be playing micro sets from that record, plus other classic SAINT tunes of course!

Finally, we’ll do three headlining shows at the end of the tour in El Paso, TX (where we haven’t played since 1984), Las Vegas, NV, and for the first time ever, The Glass House in Pomona, CA. Lots on the plate. Thanks for all the love as always.”
